my friends HDD went out on him the day COD5 came out. luckily he caught it early enough to get another one before the days end so we could still play. as soon as i got home from his house i made a backup of my HDD!
niice. its true though. i wish we really could see a follow up on how often they actually still play it after two months.

as we see every generation, if you dont have third party support, you wont last long. Nintendo is smart, milking this for everything that they can while it last. I agree it will be short lived, software sales make it evident..
same reason we saw the 360 skyrocket in sales in the last month...its cheap. people look for bargains, then when they find out they get what they paid for they buy a ps3.

The amount of frags on Veteran is ridiculous!!! My worst level was the sniping level. it took me almost 30 minutes just to pass that one part. Everytime i moved, BAM, headshot...dead...AND it takes three of your own shots to kill him. that level was really the only one that pissed me off. other than that i think its a great game. i had all doubts in treyarch before the game was released, its pretty solid and the online is great. they kept to cod4 but thought about the perks a lot more. ...
it was about 75% done when activision sold it. its a pretty decent game, not the greatest, unless they take a chance and try changing it. i dont think that will happen being that a lot of money was already spent on it and they would have to completely change it around which would cost a butt load more.
Id give the game an 8.0 out of 10 as it stands now. it would probably be 8.5 but the online is horrible. hopefully atari works on that!!

yeah i like that music idea. maybe just have the xmb pop up on our in 'Home' TV. that way you could access everything on your ps3. same goes for the psp. any music stored on your HDD should be accessible from any where in home from your psp. i think it would be good marketing for sony to make the psp used as an mp3 player also. steal some apple customers.

the ps3 is and will be more than fine. its on par with the ps2 sales from launch but it costs double the price. one more price drop in a couple more months and wii wont even be safe.

The only problem i have with vista is memory allocation. it uses up way to much ram, even at idle states. if W7 can improve on this which is almost a given it will. W7 is going to be awesome. Ive been running vista for almost two years now and ive NEVER had a problem with crashes or drivers that i didnt have with XP.
